High-Performance Aluminium Windows
Double and triple-glazed window systems with thermal break frames, argon-gas units, and low-E coatings — engineered to reduce heat gain and external noise in Malaysian commercial and residential properties.
Defeating Heat and Noise at the Building Envelope
Standard single-pane aluminium windows are inadequate for properties along busy Malaysian highways, in dense urban cores, or in spaces that depend on controlled air-conditioning. High-performance glazing systems solve this at the source. Our thermally broken window frames use a polyamide insert to physically separate the exterior and interior aluminium profiles, eliminating the conductive bridge that allows outdoor heat to bleed through. Combined with argon-gas-filled double glazing units (DGU) and low-E soft-coat glass, the result is a measurably cooler, quieter interior — with real reductions in HVAC runtime.
For acoustic priority projects — properties near LRT lines, highways, or commercial zones — we specify laminated acoustic glass within the DGU, achieving noise reduction in the 35–45 dB range depending on the specification. We work directly with architects and M&E consultants to choose the right glass composition (glass thickness, air gap width, gas fill, and low-E position) to meet Green Building Index (GBI) targets and building code requirements. All frames and glazing units are fabricated and assembled at our in-house Kuala Lumpur facility before delivery to site.
Thermal Break Frames
Polyamide thermal barrier prevents heat conduction through the aluminium frame, reducing solar heat gain and supporting GBI energy performance credits.
Acoustic Laminated Glass
Acoustic PVB interlayer within the double-glazing unit dampens external noise. Suitable for properties near highways, LRT lines, or commercial areas requiring quiet interiors.
Low-E Coating & Argon Fill
Low-emissivity coatings reflect infrared heat back outdoors. Argon-gas-filled cavities further reduce thermal conductivity. Available in 6+12+6mm and 6+16+6mm configurations.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is a thermal break in an aluminium window frame?
Aluminium is an excellent conductor of heat. In a standard profile, outdoor heat travels directly through the metal frame into the interior. A thermal break inserts a polyamide (nylon) strip between the outer and inner aluminium sections, physically interrupting that heat path. This can reduce frame-area heat transfer by up to 70% compared to a non-broken profile.
How much noise reduction can I realistically expect?
A well-specified high-performance window with acoustic laminated glass in a sealed frame can achieve 35–45 dB of noise reduction (Rw rating). In practice, for a roadside property, this typically means traffic noise drops from clearly audible and disruptive to a low, tolerable background hum.
Do these windows qualify for Green Building Index (GBI) credits?
Yes. Thermally broken frames with low-E coated double-glazing units contribute directly to the Energy Efficiency category in GBI assessments. We can provide the relevant U-values, SHGC figures, and product data sheets required by your M&E consultant or green building assessor.
