Commercial & F&B Plumbing Fit-Outs — Built for Heavy Use

Plumbing Installation

JWE delivers plumbing installation for commercial and F&B renovation projects as part of a full-scope fit-out. New pipe runs, fixture installation, hot and cold water systems, and connection to building services — executed to commercial durability standards and coordinated with glazing, tiling, and wet works within a single programme.

Plumbing That Connects to the Rest of the Project

Commercial plumbing installation is not a standalone trade on an F&B or commercial renovation project — it is the foundation on which kitchens, bathrooms, bar areas, and wet zones are built. If the pipe runs are wrong, the floor screed that follows is wrong. If the drainage gradients are incorrect, the waterproofing above them cannot perform. JWE delivers plumbing installation as part of an integrated fit-out scope — coordinated with our drainage, waterproofing, tiling, and glass works rather than handed off to a separate subcontractor who arrives without knowledge of the broader programme.

Our plumbing installation work is concentrated in the commercial and F&B sectors, where the performance requirements are fundamentally different from residential work. A commercial kitchen requires hot and cold water at simultaneous high-demand loads, drainage that clears at volume without backing up, and pipework routed to allow for equipment access and health inspection compliance. These are not standards that residential plumbing practice reliably delivers. JWE has built this capability through 30 years of F&B and commercial renovation projects — delivering plumbing that survives the demands of a trading restaurant, not just the demands of a show flat.

New Pipe Runs & Rerouting

For renovation projects, existing pipe runs frequently conflict with new layouts. JWE hacks out and reroutes supply and waste pipework to suit the new kitchen, toilet, or wet area plan — coordinated with the chasing schedule so floor and wall reinstatement follows in sequence.

Hot & Cold Water Systems

Commercial kitchens, staff toilets, and food preparation areas require separate hot and cold supply lines sized for simultaneous demand. JWE installs pressure-tested supply systems with appropriate isolation valves, sized for the equipment load specified in the kitchen design.

Fixture Installation & Connection

Sinks, handwash basins, dishwasher connections, prep sinks, and commercial sanitaryware — installed and commissioned. Connections are pressure-tested before wall and floor finishes close over the work. Final commissioning is done with the equipment in place, not simulated during rough-in.

Building Services Coordination

In tenanted commercial premises, plumbing work must connect to the landlord's main supply and drainage. JWE coordinates the isolation, connection, and reinstatement of these connections with the building management team — including submission of as-built drawings where required by the mall or building owner.

Common Questions

Do you handle plumbing as a standalone job, or only within renovation projects?

Primarily within renovation or fit-out projects where plumbing is one element of a broader scope that includes glazing, drainage, and wet works. For standalone plumbing-only scopes, contact us to assess feasibility — the answer depends on the location and scale of the work.

How is plumbing coordinated with the tiling and waterproofing schedule?

Rough-in and pressure testing happen before screed or waterproofing. Once rough-in is passed, the drainage gradient and waterproofing membrane are applied, then tiling follows. Final fixture connection and commissioning happens after wall and floor finishes are complete. JWE manages this sequencing internally — it is not left to the client to coordinate between separate subcontractors.

What type of pipe material do you use for commercial installations?

UPVC for waste and soil drainage. PPR or copper for hot and cold supply. Stainless steel for exposed kitchen areas where hygiene inspection applies. Material selection follows the application requirements and any franchise specification where applicable.

Integrated Fit-Out

One Team. One Programme.

JWE manages plumbing installation within the same programme as glazing, drainage, waterproofing, and tiling — no coordination gap between separate subcontractors. For F&B fit-outs with a fixed handover date, this integration is what makes the programme achievable.
