Project Scope

JWE Premier Engineering was selected as the structural glass systems specialist for Toppen Shopping Centre in Johor. The project dimensions were massive, encompassing a 20,000 sq ft structural glass railing installation and an intricate 8,000 sq ft smart mirror cladding package for washrooms and feature walls.

The Challenge

In a high-footfall retail environment like Toppen, public safety is paramount. The 20,000 sq ft glass balustrades protecting multi-story atriums required robust engineering, utilizing heavy-duty tempered laminated glass and precise U-channel securement to withstand immense crowd loading.

The Outcome

Our team expertly managed the sprawling site logistics, delivering thousands of heavy glass panels across multiple zones. The sleek glass railings preserved the mall's open, airy architectural vision while adhering to rigorous safety compliance codes, and the smart mirrors added a modern, interactive touch for mall patrons.
